Embedding an analysis from another experiment

Learn how to add an analysis from another experiment to your Canvas in Pluto

Embedding an analysis from another experiment on your Canvas page makes it even easier to craft your scientific story. Previously, Canvas was limited to a single experiment, but now you can bring analyses and visualizations from multiple experiments together in one place. This means you can now seamlessly compare plots and insights from different experiments or assay types side-by-side. Whether you're exploring multi-omics approaches or working with data from multiple experiments, this feature allows you to visualize and compare your results in a way that's powerful and intuitive.

Embed analysis from another experiment

From the Overview page of your working experiment, navigate to the experiment navigation bar at the top of the page and click "Canvas".

From the Canvas view, click the "Plots" icon in the left hand menu. Search for the experiment that you want to add by PLX ID or experiment name. Click on the experiment, and then select the analysis that you want to embed.

Embedded analyses will always be flagged by an outline color, so that you can easily differentiate embedded analyses from analyses that belong to the working experiment.
