Create or upload graphs to store and view data
What can I do with this analysis?
- Create custom analyses and visualizations: You'll be able to use external analysis to programmatically access your data in Pluto, enabling custom analyses and visualizations not currently supported in-app.
- Seamless data integration: You'll be able to push custom analysis results and plots back to Pluto to view alongside in-app analyses, facilitating comprehensive evaluation and interpretation of experimental data.
- Conduct multi-omics analyses: You can use external analysis to integrate and analyze multi-omics data sets, exploring correlations and interactions between different experiments.
Suggested applications
- Advanced data exploration: Leverage external analyses to explore complex data relationships and hypotheses beyond available in-app analyses.
- Tailored visualizations: Create and customize visual representations of your data using external analysis, allowing for personalized visualizations that enhance data interpretation and presentation.
- Collaborative research: Share and collaborate on external analysis results within Pluto, enabling team members to collectively interpret findings and accelerate research outcomes.
Creating an external analysis
From within your experiment, click into the analysis catalogue and select "External analysis". From there you'll be prompted to upload three files:
- Display file: Choose an image you want to use as the preview for your analysis. This can be HTML, a PDF, or Image file type
- Results file: Upload a CSV of your results table
- Script file: your script needs to be uploaded as a ZIP file
